So its 2008 at last.
This year has seen some ups and some downs, and I'm holding out a lot more hope for 08 than I had for 07.
Jan: Began to lose myself.
Feb: Experienced a great tension with my love.
March: Took myself to the clinic to get help
April: Slept it away...medication fucked with me.
May: Proposed to Ryan, he accepted. On May 4th, became engaged. May 5th, saw Elton John, completed one of my life goals. May 7th, turned 19.
June: Started work at John Deere
July: Started playing Song.
August: Started school at Brookehaven, started new medication.
Septemer: 3rd Anniversary with Ryan
October: Realized I hate Brookehaven
November: Realized that people change. Lost people I thought I knew.
December: Decided to love myself again, laid down the foundation for the process.
For the next year, I plan to get two things under control:
My religion, and my weight.
When I was on Lexapro, two things happened: I lost the ability to sleep and nearly failed all my classes spring semester, and I gained about 20 pounds, bringing me to 185. It is my goal this year to lose those 20 pounds, and in 2009 lose another 20. I want to be about 140-150 by 2010, when I am getting married.
As far as my religion goes, I've started a journal, and am going to be practicing more relaxation techniques and energy training. When I was younger, I dabbled through some Wiccan websites and books and strangely I felt an inner peace I'd never known. my mother, upon discovering this, quickly ripped up every book I had and everything I had written. I daresay I'm old enough to make that journey for myself, anyways she thinks I'm Atheist, so it shouldn't really matter if I'm Wiccan to her or not.
Those are the first two steps I'm going to take to loving myself again.
After that, it'll be getting my finances in order so that Ryan and I can finally move out.

The wedding is officially on September 19th, 2010. So, please make plans to be in the DFW area during the time, okay? It would mean a lot to me, because damn near everyone on my myspace is actually a friend of mine, and I'd love to see you all here. Over the course of the next two years I'm going to be collecting addresses to mail out invitations, so please make sure I've got yours!
