Oct. 4th, 2009 10:01 amSo last night at about 8 oclock I left work, was really excited I got out so early because I wanted to go home and cook dinner for Ryan and stuff....you know, something nice for him when he got off work at 10:30.
It had just stopped raining, and I thought my timing was perfect. I take one highway to another to get home, and I'm at the point where I'm about to merge onto 35N from 635W. The highways start to divide, and this guy realizes "OH NOEZ, THIS IS WHERE I WANTED TO GO TOO' and merges on me. He hits me in the left corner and then speeds up, I slam on my breaks and the car slams into the concrete barrier wall. I end up spinning out back into traffic and then guide the car into the median....the guy never stopped. No one stopped. I'm amazed and I think it's a horrible stroke of luck, and call my dad sobbing from my car - I couldn't even get out, where he hit me jammed my door into the wall of my car and I couldn't get out. I kicked my door out and got out.
Houkie kept me calm while I was waiting on my parents to get there and my dad managed to drive my car home. I ended up with a really bad seatbelt burn / bruise mark from where I hit it and the steering wheel but I'm okay. My elbow also ended up getting scraped up but I have NO idea where that came from.
The moment he killed the car in the drive and got out my radiator started spewing liquid and steaming. I was sobbing because I knew before he said ANYTHING that my car was dead. The old, beat up 93 Taurus that I considered like my dog - same age, and they could never die. They refuse. They're both on their last legs and we all know it, but they refuse to die out. And now someone took my car's life. And I was just so [i]angry[/i].

I'll get pictures later when I can of the rest of the car because the left corner is screwed up and then the back right corner is to.
Unfortunately, this means a new car and right now things are SUPER tight. I paid rent yesterday and and now 96$ negative so I could do so. Obviously I have no money for a new car and am not sure how I'm going to end up getting around or to work for the next couple.....well, while. I hate to ask this, and I swear that the second I can do so I will return money to where it comes from...but if anyone could lend a couple dollars to me so I can maybe get a new car sooner than next year, I would be SO grateful...my paypal is katy.hambrick@gmail.com. I feel slimy doing this even....but I'll return it ASAP.
