There's a difference between someone doing something ICly completely based off an OOC event - like a character disliking another character based on two people's feelings towards another - and having an OOC reaction because of something IC - like me getting emotional when Poet died, because having an OOC reaction to an IC event isn't the same thing as having something happen ICly based on something OOC.
I'm mostly talking about people doing things IC based on their feelings OOC....like petty things. It's different when people do things out of spite, versus having an actual need because of OOC constrants...like when Salene left the Valley. I didn't want it to happen, but I was working nearly 12-14 hours at least 6 days a week because I had to replace my car and fast. I didn't have time for leadership, or admin things, so I had to come up with a reason why she'd leave and work it out that way.
I'm more or less talking about a person having an in character reaction to their out of character feelings towards another person / event...things that have no good reason to happen.
